Oil on board 4'x6' (121.92 cm x 182.88 cm) My intentions going into this piece was to create an abstract vision of the powerful and beautiful energy that makes up northern New Mexico's vistas. Many times I think to myself, "I have know idea what I'm doing," but somehow it works out. Sometimes I'm happier with the intended results than others. It's amazing to watch everything come together with fast motion video. (One week of painting in less than 5 minutes.) Watching this video it amazes me what can be accomplished with 'slight-of-hand,' paints, brush strokes, and placement of colors. We humans are a very creative bunch!
